Death Road to Canada - wait, that's a different game.

Great game! I've been inspired by your work since Meters. Your design decisions seem so simple or obvious but they're so effective. And when I go to accomplish something similar I find it's not obvious at all.  You create enjoyable game loops with really elegant constraints. I like how each item, enemy, and stat bar feed into to each other in a way that keeps me pushing to actually win.

I beat it! Great game.

Very fun! I won on my third try, when I stopped playing it like a slasher and started playing it as a resource juggling game with the occasional running-away.

I hope my wish comes true. 😄

(1 edit)

I can't believe how close I got! Ran out of fuel with like 20 km to spare and there was a canister on the side of the road I didn't grab much earlier because it was surrounded by enemies. Even ran all across the map here just in case I found something but it was not to be. I'll come back to this for another attempt for sure.

somehow managed to freeze here.  not sure why.  Paying on firefox from Linuxmint.

I also had a freeze at a screen like this. Firefox and Ubuntu

What a nice idea for a game :)
I liked the part where I had to get out of the car and scavenge for resources. It's tough to manage 4 separate bars, but I enjoyed it a lot.

One thing is was missing is movement through 'hjkl' :P
